- The Fall -
Rotten, yes, it's through and through.
Trash the old, and bring in the new.
Children now used as mere toys.
In a sick game for girls and boys.
Just lives to cut, tear, and flay.
One slow motion, sad decay.
Taught what to think and what to do.
They all aged but they never grew.
They scream of hate and of fear.
Then they break, beat, kill, and cheer.
Breathing, but never living.
Taking, but never giving.
One system granted paradise,
One furnace for the heat.
One system brought destruction.
One grinder for the meat.
We could have been the light.
We could have had it all.
But this is the fall.
We could have braved the night.
We could have heard the call.
But we're in the fall.
